Gerbing's Classic Heated Gloves

My first piece of heated clothing was a pair of heated gloves. I do a lot of cold weather riding but before I got my heated gloves those rides were exercises in misery.

After buying a pair of Gerbing's Classic Heated Gloves I'm riding in comfort. Since that first purchase several years ago I've since added a heated jacket liner and pant liners to my regular gear. I'd never ride without heated clothing again.

I've tried other brands of heated clothing but Gerbing's is my favorite. They've got a complete range (from gloves to socks) and it all interconnects. All of my heated clothing plugs together so only one power source is needed for everything.Gerbing's Classic Heated Gloves

The gloves come with a harness so that they can be used by themselves, but if you can afford it go for the heated jacket liner. It's worn under your jacket and the gloves plug right in to the sleeves. The power supply for both is provided by the connection from the battery to the jacket liner.

I find that these heated gloves are very comfortable. Gerbing's also makes the G3 heated gloves which are supposed to offer increased pliability. For my purposes, though, the Classic Heated Gloves are perfect. There are wires that run down the length of each finger, but you can't feel them.

The only complaint I have about these heated gloves is that the connector wires must be bent back if the gauntlets are worn over a coat. The plugs are positioned on the inside of the glove - this is great for protecting them from the elements but means that a bit of adjustment is needed when putting the gloves on.

This is really a minor point. The important thing is that these heated gloves allow me to ride for HOURS where before I would have to take a break every 20 minutes or so.

Gerbing's Classic Heated Gloves come with a lifetime warranty on the heating element. This same warranty is offered on all their heated clothing - one of the reasons I picked this brand.

Good Choice!

Widder is one of the oldest heated clothing manufacturers. Maybe not as commercial as Gerbings but they produce top notch and consistent quality products. How about a review on their products. See www.heaterz.com

Have you heard about Thermoflash?
It's a new system, using the spare heat of water cooling motorcycles, with a heating power up to 3800Watts! Also for 2 person use, with a suit temperature setting 85 F - 125 F , neat.
